Looking for a fax
I am looking for fax that doesn't cost a lot, I only fax up to 2-5 pages a month. Some of the people I fax to don't allow online faxes. Is there a workaround? John
Online faxes to offline machines
Hi John,
I've never heard of an analog (physical) fax machine being able to filter (not allow) Internet faxes. Faxes from Internet fax services such as MyFax
also get sent through the phone line when they're sent - so in essence both Internet faxes and physical fax machines use the same system.
Have you been able to test sending the same fax from both an Internet faxing service and an analog fax machine and verify that only the analog version arrives? It could be that your recipient's fax machine has blocked the sending number you're using for your online faxes. Consider giving MyFax
