Files Changed in Drupal Upgrade from 5.7 to 5.8

Here is a list of files that have been modified since Drupal version 5.7. Image files are not included. We will list the directories followed by the files within them that were updated. While we've done our best to maintain their accuracy, we do not guarantee the correctness of these lists, and will not be held responsible for any problems you encounter as a result of their use. If unsure, please follow the official upgrade instructions included in your distribution's download.

Important Security Fixes in Drupal 5.8

The upgrade to 5.8 is essential. Visit Drupal.org for details.

Correction: jquery.js was not updated in Drupal 5.8

Judging from the files in the drupal 5.8 download, the jquery.js file that ships with it did not change in that update. A comparison confirms that it is identical to the one that shipped with Drupal 5.7. (That file is of course not "mentioned" in the 5.8 patch either.)

A change to this particular file would trigger other tasks such as what to do with JQuery_update module which is supposed to replace this file, etc.

Please correct this, as this may lead to unnecessary confusion and extra work for Drupallers who use this very practical listing Smiling

Thanks for the effort of maintaining this list.

jquery.js removed from Drupal 5.8 update list

Hi Taxoman,

Thank you! This is the first one that slipped through the cracks, and will hopefully be the last!

Cheers,
Alex
