Your outgoing mail server is used to send emails from your computer. Depending on where your email account is hosted, you may or may not be able to use your email provider's outgoing mail server. Email addresses based on public email services such as Hotmail, Google, Yahoo, etc. will use their own outgoing mail servers. If your email is hosted on your own website, you may want to use your hosting provider's mail server. For example, websites hosted on example.com may use mail.example.com as both their incoming and outgoing mail servers.
Some ISP's (Internet Service Providers) will not allow you to make use of your own outgoing mail server. In this situation, you'll need to use your ISP's outgoing mail server. Find the name of your ISP and use the chart below to find your outgoing mail server.
If you are intent on using your own site's mail server, you may want to contact your ISP. You can also try outgoing mail (SMTP) port number to 26 (default is 25), as some ISP's will block port 25 because it is often used for spamming.

List of SMTP Servers per Country
Any chance you can categorize this list so we can view SMTP servers by country?
mail servers
can u plz send incoming and outgoing port address for all the isp's to my mail pradeeme at gmail dot com
UltraSMTP
Another mobile SMTP service that works well is UltraSMTP. I like this service because it has features for tracking and confirming delivery of email that I've sent.
Port numbers for ATT Yahoo
I need the port numbers, outgoing in particular, for smtp.att.yahoo.com.
AT&T Yahoo SMTP Port
Try 587 for smtp.att.yahoo.com (465 for SSL).
If you were previously using mail.swbell.net, try port 443 on smtpauth.sbcglobal.net.
Cox.net
How about if you are in the Midwest or Southwest. Cox says use pop.east.cox.net; BUT IT DOES NOT WORK WITH THE I-PHONE! Anyone have a suggestion? I will try "west" but bet that does not work either.
SMTP account changes
Thanks for this list. It must be difficult keeping up with the ISP's and their ever-changing SMTP servers. Why on earth would you change an SMTP server address when you have millions of people relying on that address for their email sending? It's like having the postal service every now and then take your mailbox away. Actually - its' more like having them simply not pick up your mail, since you wouldn't be aware of the fact that it's not going out!!
Ahh, how about we all just go back to Pony Express days
Help asap please!
Does anyone know the outgoing SMTP server for an email account .co.cc? Example... Administrator at BelAirHighSchool.co.cc
SMTP Server List
Nice, I was able to find one of the two SMTP servers I was looking for. Any chance this list will be updated soon to include even more SMTP servers? Or maybe you could offer the option for people to add SMTP servers they use but are not already on this list. Then you guys wouldn't have as much updating to do...just a thought.
Port Number of an SMTP server

help getting mail with cox.net
Hi, I have never been able to get my iPhone to receive mail and send mail. I am using cwmx.com for outgoing and pop.east.cox.net for incoming. Is this correct? I'm literally going crazy. My husband's phone settings are the same as mine and his works?? Please let me know, I'm losing my mind!!
Cox.net mail servers
Hi there,
From what we can tell, if you're on the east coast, use pop.east.cox.net for incoming (receiving) mail, and pop.west.cox.net if you're on the west coast. For outgoing (sending) mail, use either smtp.east.cox.net or smtp.west.cox.net.
Let us know how it goes!
What about a French email acount ?

Starcomms outgoing smtp port
Hi Emmanuel,
I searched for the outgoing port but was unable to find it. You may want to check their website (which when I just visited generated a bunch of errors and looked rather cheap - are these guys legit?)
