Looking for an Alternative to TinyURL?

TinyURL is a great service - it allows you to shorten long URL's such as example.com/index.php?id=4/directory/folder/etc/bla-bla-bla-bla.aspx) into URL Shortcuts (LinkTh.at/abc). But the service has been around for years, and is starting to get dusty. The "short links" are getting exceedingly long, as millions upon millions of links are being made, and the site is getting exceedingly cluttered with ads and promotions.

LinkTh.at - Clean, Uncluttered, Easy to Remember, and Shorter!

Time to check out our recommended alternative to TinyURL. What is it? It's called LinkTh.at, and does what it's name suggests, and nothing more. The website is very simple and uncluttered. Here's a screenshot:

LinkTh.at - TinyURL Alternative

How simple is that? That's it - that's the whole website, no bells and whistles. All you do is copy and paste your link into the box, hit the "LinkTh.at" button, and you're off to the races. The best part? The links are short! For example, we just linked a page and the URL LinkTh.at produced was: LinkTh.at/0k. It doesn't get much simpler than that. You're probably starting to see why we consider LinkTh.at to be the best TinyURL alternative. So much so, in fact, that we've decided to host the service on one of our servers for free.

LinkTh.at - Your Links Are Permanent

Even better - once you save a link in LinkTh.at - it's permanent. In other words, LinkTh.at permanently stores and remembers your shortcuts, so you don't have to. Your URL shortcut produced will always link to the page you entered. If you ever forget what the shortcut was, LinkTh.at will remind you. Simply copy and paste the same page back in, and LinkTh.at will show you the shortcut. The same goes if someone else already created a URL shortcut for your page - instead of creating a duplicate link, LinkTh.at will show you the URL shortcut that was already created.

LinkTh.at is Free, Secure, Backed Up, and Maintained

There's no charge to use LinkTh.at, and your links are securely stored and backed up on a dedicated server that is regularly maintained. But don't take our word for it - visit LinkTh.at and give it a whirl for yourself.

There is another alternative to tinyURL

Hello,
I was looking for an alternative to tiny URL and I found this great site, you should visit it: TinyIt.info

2 Extra Characters

Not bad, but it uses 2 more characters in the URL than LinkTh.at, which means your Twitter messages will have to be 2 characters shorter.

Nice service

How refreshing to have a service that does what it says it does - shorten links, with a clean, uncluttered, and easy to use interface. I'm so tired of all the services that try to add a million offerings and end up cluttering and slowing down the layout. Here's to LinkTh.at - the Google of link shorteners!
